car Alarm ?
Hey can anyone reccomend a Decent car alarm (Since my father in law scared the crap outta me sayin some one wants to steal my car, and i am new to the area) im not too sure whats good since well ive never owned one before. under $150 ive been lookin on google but soo many brands... oh yea remote start would be nice. thanks guys

umm under $150 w/remote start is pushing it. Oh yeah I made a thread about car alarms in the car audio and electronics section..

alot of people her recomned the Viper alarms. I still have the factory alarm on my car and it does fine. but finding a decent car alarm for $150 is really hard, so save up for something like a Viper, itl pay for itself eventualy.

Actually I think it's a really old version. I looked on the viper site and the remote control for the current one looks a lot newer and more modern.

humn i wonder if i can get the upgraded remote and if will work with the system all in all.. then again the internal components might be different, ill look into this or decide on a new system and save myself the hedache....

That's a decent amount of money saved... but I personally would rather get the new unit. It looks a lot nicer.
