just got a kenwood kdc-4015 into my car last night. i havent had a cd player for a couple years (since i got my BMW). i already noticed i hate having all the cd's laying around inside.
so................
is it possible to install an IPOD mini to that cd player? i am looking for a very clean stealth install. i was thinking about removing the ashtray and fitting it into the console.
what parts would i need?
ive been "googleing" all morning and dont really understand everything about them.(never had an ipod either)

if you have an auxilary input in the back of ur cd player, you can get a headphone to auxilary cable thqt will directly connect the two..thats what i have... if u r interested, i will tell u you later.
With my setup I just used the Headphone -to- Aux cable like above, But I connected that to a belkin car charger and I hid that under my center console and ran the iPod connecter through my cup holder. So it charges my iPod, shows no cables and fits snug in the cup holder. I may post a DIY
If you look closely at the Belkin you can see an input for the 1/8"
Then I ran that iPod connecter under my center console up through the cup holder, and the belking is plugged in underneath the cig lighter with the Y-adapter running to the AUX on my kenwood.
