Car Audio and Electronics

if you have infinity, go with infinity
otherwise, you may risk getting a speaker that has a "different sound" than the rest of your speakers (u prolly already knew that tho...)

lol, i bought on an impulse because i found 4 inch speakers really cheap on ebay. i bought some pioneer ts-g1040r 4 inch coaxials.... i am so retarded.. lol... they are supposed to be good speakers at least...
i was also going for best product for the least amount of money... i should have still gone infinity though
Mullet's right, you'll get some discontinuity (is that a word?!). But hey- a 4 inch coax is a 4 inch coax, no matter who makes it. A little rear fill is about all you'll get, which I assume is what you want. Otherwise you'd have gotten something bigger.

ya it is... i just popped out the rear speakers and those boxes today...
ya, i just need the sound fill... there IS a difference without them... i dont care if everyone says that their isnt much, to me there is.
some people take out the rear speakers to get the subwoofers waves to the cabin better, and when taking the speakers out, IT DOES help quite a bit. Though i will be putting my speakers back in... the sub is still heard and is very effective even with the speaker boxes intacted.
now with my new rear deck speakers, should i still use the nokia rear deck speaker BOX to hold the new rear deck speakers, and to help produce the sound waves(i think they might help), or just leave out the boxes and just screw the speakers (using the holes that kept the boxes up).
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.

Either way, it's up to your ears; for a 4" driver it won't really make a difference. But what is more important is that the sound generated from the rear of the driver should be isolated from the sound coming from the front. Given that, you have to cover the remainder of the hole in the rear deck if you're not mounting into the stock boxes. If you don't do that, you won't even be able to make a valid comparison between your mounting options.
