Cd Error

Ok so after the wreck I was driving and my cd player cut out, came back after a second. Soon it stopped working and said disc error on every cd. Finally i got it to work for about 20 seconds, and it's been dead since. Any ideas on what I could do to try to fix it? I have a tape to plug my old mp3 player into the tape deck to get some music...but I can't find my mp3 player. I'm hoping to find out how to fix it cheaply and not have to buy a new player. I might be able to just take it out and clean the lens or something simple, who knows.

sounds like its time for a new CD player to me. Maybe you can upgrade to a in-dash DVD player..

I don't have the money to buy a new cd player, not an in-dash DVD for sure.
