New CD deck
I just got a 1989 BMW 325i, and i wanted to upgrade to a cd player. i was curious if anybody has any information or anything pertaining to that, and also only the right hand side speakers work, but if i hold out the volume knob (fader) and i get it to a certain spot, the speakers on the left hand side come out loud and clear as long as i hold the knob out, any information would be great, i dont want to but new speakers.

OK Buddy have the same car and already changed factory radio. My factory radio did same thing as with the volume control nob instead of fader nob. Once I installed the new radio all those problems were gone. Don't ask weird huh. I can tell you all the wires colors and such but not right now, don't have my book. If you want more info, post again and give some specific questions. Will check back. Sorry couldn't be more help right now. PS think brown is ground and gray and violet Power wire. More later Sorry
