Car Audio and Electronics
Sponsored by: SKOB on itunes Discuss sub and speaker setups, GPS navigation, XM radio, and anything else related to car audio and electronics.
Thats going to change, though. I'm going to be replacing my interior speakers soon because I deffinatly blew a tweeter and I believe 1 of the mid-range is on the fritz. They worked well for a while but I guess stock can't keep up to my demands.
Good thing i've got Bostin Acoustics for every speaker already, just need to actualy re-wire them.

alpine HU, infinity tweets, infinity kick panels, infinity 1230 12 inch sub, blapunkt or whatever they are called amp(for the sub), by passed the oem amp for the intinity tweets and kick panels (both are reference by the way), custom made sub box by el presidente, and my ipod is directly connected to the infinity headuit using the AUX input.
Honestly, It's kinda sad, but I don't remember what model my subs are. Infinity something. lol, I'll ask Cameron (el pres) and see if he remembers. When I get an answer, I'll post my entire setup. lol
Pioneer DEH-P3600 head unit + Compaq PA-1 MP3 player
Infinity Reference 5000cs front
Infinity Reference 6002i rear
Roadmaster SW80 subwoofer on an MTX RT202 amp
My sub is (obviously) a temporary setup, filling space until I can afford 2 Infinity 1032Ws and a Boss RT645. The cab speakers will eventually be powered by a Boss C600; they're barely being used now, as my head only puts out ~45 watts per channel.

I'm going to be looking into another amp to give full power to my subs.
both of my W3's are on 1 - 250W channel.
each is capable of 300RMS. i'll be looking into a 500 - 600 rms amp for thoes in the near future.
i used to turn up the sound and begin to wonder if the woofers could actualy function that loud, when the actual problem is they CAN and aren't getting enough power. ^^
Sony mp3 xplod headunit, 6*9's in the rear(pioneer 350w 4way ones) stock front speakers JL 2 way mono amp 250/1 and 2 rockford p2's subs, system hits hella hard and amp is always on low. I guess Dynamat is also part of my system since my all trunk is dynamated.
I am thinking of geting a new headunit, not bcs I don't like mine, ut it is about 4 years old and it's starting to skip, am thinking of getting a touch screen, am mainly wiating bcs I might get a job at either Advance Auto parts or Best buy, so, I figure I might just wait and get that eployees discount
