How to remove the rear seat? E36 328 96'
 

Hi.

I have an E36 328i 96' and I need to remove the back seat (to install a new sound system). I tried today but didn't found the way to unlock the upside seat.

Can you help me?

I have a 1997 328i and would like to run an IPOD adapter line from the trunk. Havent looked at the backseat yet to see how to yank it, saw this thread, lets see if some knowledgeable person has done this before. Hows the seat come out?

from the back side of that seat push it to the down with on small button, & after getting down that you can see the lock of that seat just unlock from both side & get seat come it easily.

Actually I ended up doing this a while back, and the bottom of the seat just YANKS out. No buttons, no gadgets, its sheer force of will. ;)
