2002 530i head unit removal

I am trying to install a sirius starmate 4 into a 2002 530i and cannot for the life of me find anywhere how pull out the stock headunit to plug in the direct fm adapter or any wiring diagrams for where to grab power from once i have got it out
anyone have any good links for me?

Assuming you don't have the navigation option, remove the volume knob by pulling straight out. You'll find a small torx screw behind there. Once you unscrew it, the MID panel will simply pop off. You will then have access to the CD radio unit's mounting screws.

i have stalled out today on my project i relized after having it apart i need a radio antena adapter http://www.myradiostore.com/sirius/s...ks-40eu20.html
i still have another problem of where to get power from anyone have any sudjestions on what to tap into to get power. should i just tap into the power for the radio?

Never mind found out how to get the glove box off from the alarm install post. Doh one must always rember to look before they post, sorry.

Pictures

I finaly installed everything here are some pictures.
I decided to take power from the rechargable flashlight and it works fine.

Here are all the parts strewn out all over the table.


Here is where the bracket mounts to under the molding. The yellow stuff is paint that was on the tip of the screw. That was fun to clean up.


Here is a pictures of the radio. Sorry it is such crappy quailty i will take more tomarrow


Here is the antena I am going to use some double sided tape to hold it down
