Best Radar Detector ?
Alright, here it is. What is the best radar detector ? I've had the Escort Passport with the red display but didn't like it. Is the V1 any good ? I really need some advice because I don't feel like dropping $500 on a POS. Thanks ! lol

I hear the V1 is the best, always well reviewed. I have a friend with one and I think he is pretty happy with it. |

Can't say I know enough about the escort or the V1 but if i was going to drop $400-500 on a radar detector it would be the V1. |

iv got the cordless escort solo s2 or something like that an i like it. I think its pretty much the same thing as your current one though.

There is none better than...
...the Valentine One. The rest are virtual garbage in comparison. Once you have operated with "the arrows" you cannot imagine driving without them. The early detection of multiple bogeys is a great advantage. POP and instant on detection... superior. 93 rating when next best detector rates at only a 79 (R&T). Scale of 1-100 with 100 rep. best. Similar results in unbiased tests. Sensitivity. False signal rejection. Detection distance. V1 rules. That is all...
