Cool Best Radar Detector ?

Alright, here it is. What is the best radar detector ? I've had the Escort Passport with the red display but didn't like it. Is the V1 any good ? I really need some advice because I don't feel like dropping $500 on a POS.

Thanks ! lol

I hear the V1 is the best, always well reviewed. I have a friend with one and I think he is pretty happy with it.

Can't say I know enough about the escort or the V1 but if i was going to drop $400-500 on a radar detector it would be the V1.

Exclamation There is none better than...

...the Valentine One.

The rest are virtual garbage in comparison.

Once you have operated with "the arrows" you cannot imagine driving without them. The early detection of multiple bogeys is a great advantage.

POP and instant on detection... superior.

93 rating when next best detector rates at only a 79 (R&T). Scale of 1-100 with 100 rep. best. Similar results in unbiased tests.

Sensitivity. False signal rejection. Detection distance. V1 rules.

That is all...

amen!

i have a V1, and its truely an amazing device, you can actually drive around without constantly checking that your not 2 miles over the speed limit. It's especially usefull when over taking pesky trucks and old ladies and you're not sure if there are cops around.

I love the V1 and couldnt reccomend anything above it!
