wires wires...crap

i am about to replace the factory head unit, i have the premium set up with a fader by the defrost on my 88 325is.

is it better to rerun new set of wires from the speakers to the new head unit, it is a pioneer 9800 by the way.

i dont see enough speaker wires going to the stock unit when i took it out, seem to be only 2?!?!

i will take some pics of the wires and can someone explain. thanks in advance.

The little rotary button does the fader duties for front/rear. If you plan to in the future to place the factory stereo, I would advise you to splice into the wires coming out of the rotary button. Now, if you plan to go all out (specially with a high end unit like that, I'm a Pioneer fan) in the future, then wire straight from the unit so you can better use the crossfading and all that the head unit comes with. If you need any help or questions just PM me.
