im having a little bit of a hard time understanding what you are saying. i have the same year and if you take out the one screw, the entire kick panel comes off and the speaker can be accessed. i think you have to pull the panel down a little bit to help the top of it clear the dash.

Hi, I'm new to this site and I have a bmw 325i 1990 also. The radio on the car that i baught is less than satisfactory and being the car idiot that i am, i need some advice on some speaker and subwoofer setup. Could anyone tell me what size speakers i need that would be compatable and what size subwoofers and where they could go?

Thanks

i can tell you all the sizes for the speakers, but your best bet is to go to crutchfield.com and see what fits easiest.

yes, if you could post the sizes of the front and rear speakers that would be great, im gonna assume that they are 6". also if i were to get a pair of subwoofers, where should i mount them. I dont think that in the middle of the back seat would work too well but any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

the front speakers are 13cm or 5.25" to remove the panel you have to remove the plastic thing on the side they have plastic round things you have to pull the interior circule and then te other thing there are like 4 or5 you remove that and then you can remothe the other thing look at this picture
