Stereo Upgardes for an E90
I need some help on this one. I have an 06 E90 and want to beef up the sound system. Everyone seems to say you can't do it or you'll cancel the warrantee or burn out the system, or something. Also, I have a concern that the trunk will be too air tight to be able to put woofers in it and really enjoy it. I don't want to rip the car apart, or do something to fry it and lose the warrantee either.

mess up the warranty? odd.
the easiest thing to do is try to get the same size speakers so that the bolt configuration is the same - just get better speakers (personally, i prefer infinity but others have their own favorite brands).
as a new E90, does it really have that poor of a system that you already want to replace it? i would wait a while untill technology improves enough to make it worth your while. unless the E90 sound system is really that bad.
it also depends on what kind of music you listen to. that info would be nice.
