Dudesky is correct. A pipe wrench can damage the smooth surface of the shaft, and then it will screw up the seals when the strut compresses. It has to seal perfectly, and I wouldn't take a chance. But hey, you can always count this as practice, and do it right the next time.

the pics were gone because we updated the old file manager that was full of bugs and errors as such the links have changed and got broken.
we'll fix these as we encounter them or as you guys report them to us.
