seat belt problem

Hey guys, just did my front brake pads and now I cant get my drivers belt to retract, at all. I cant put my seatbelt on.... wtf.... could this have anything to do with the brake job? Im pretty sure that the belts are affected by the brakes? I forgot to check the other belts in the car, but by the time I check in again I will have checked.

Try adjusting your drivers' seat. (As funny as that may sound) In the E34s when you adjust your drivers and/or pass seat, the angle for the seat belt changes with the position of your seat and there's a slide mechanism in your "B" pillar that slides up & down - my guess is your belt is pinched. :iwave
