ABS help

today I was leaving the local bowling alley with my boy, and as I was driving slowly through the parking lot, when I would brake lightly I could hear and feel the ABS working. It was not at all icy????????. Any ideas?

Your ABS does a "self test" for the first 20-30ft everytime you start off right after a start up. (forward or reverse) Early E34s had a glitch (really rare) that it would not complete the cycle. Techs I know did one of two things to cure it. #1) Restart and drive about 30 ft then hammer the brakes. If that doesn't cure it, disconect battery for1minute then reconnect and drive about a mile at normal speeds & braking. If these don't cure it ,check out the wiring connectors/sensors at the wheels - you might have one sticking.

Nah, just hearing that it helped you out is good enough - the jug & babes - I don't need any help in that area.{Too much of both} Majority of our production staff are women & they're enough to make you drink heavily. The rest of my immediate staff are asylum escapees on a weekend pass & you guys wonder why I drink

That's one of his "milder" moments. He has a history of setting off fire alarms in hotels for cooking breakfast in his room in an electric fry pan.
