I figured I'ld start a thread on mods with all members giving "positive" input for those thinking of, planning or are in need of info. Mostly tips for those to undertake a project & hopefully not make mistakes or led down the wrong path with members experiences.
1st thing I notice is guys "diving" right in not knowing past history or existing problems. Start with a good baseline - do the basics first - oil change, filters, plugs etc. Then you have a base to start with. Know what you have 1st before throwing a ton of stuff at it only to find you've gotten into amplifing other probs. Also do 1 mod at a time. If you do a bunch at one time and a problem pops up then it s "Sherlock Holmes"time. Save yourself the headaches and "wallet crunching". Some mods replace worn out parts - great! But set yourself up with a base vehicle that you're comfortable with. Mods will go a whole lot easier.
OK BOYS - Have at it !!!
