reseting warning messages on a 740IL

I have a 98 740IL w\4.4L and have a few old errors popping up on the cluster display.

Like : check brake lights, check brake linings, this or that about 4 differerent things.

I tried disconnecting the battery for about 5-10 minutes and that did not clear them. I also tried erasing everything with a DBDII scanner and that did not help either. I can only assume that it's flashed based in the computer?

Is there a way that I can reset these errors without taking it to a BMW dealer etc.?
