That bolt is news to me. That's why I'm thinking it was an add-on after the factory?? The Bentley doesn't even mention it

No, it's not an add-on guys, when I did my first microfilter change it drove me batty too, until I located it. No mention of it in the various manuals, just the usual screws. Later today if I get a chance I'll see if I can get a picture of it and post it here.

The angle's a little awkward, but here's the bolt, visible once the glovebox light is removed...

No need to add to the aggravation of the job by cracking or scratching the light, just be careful in removing it, it seems to come out easier laterally rather than longitudinally, i.e. put a flat screwdriver blade under the (long) side and gently pry, not the (narrow) front edge.

I have a small problem on my 97 e36. The blowers blow fine, hot when on hot, and cold when on cold. Until i stop moving.... When i'm stationary, the blowers will not blow hot air, they go cold. Now i'm sure that's not meant to happen, does any one have any ideas?

Cheers.
