convertible help
hey i bought a 97 318ic this winter and now its starting to warm up and i wanna take advantage of the convertible top. only problem is that the top is manuel and i dont know how to open it up. if anyone knows and can give me some detailed instructions i would greatly appreciate it. I have the owners manuel so please dont just tell me to read it cause i have and still haven't been able to figure it out. thanks alot
I'm not familiar w/ your particular model but as mentioned prior - if it's a manual convert - there's 2 handles - on the early models there were 2 handles under the sunvisors to release on some of the newer the handles were just above the drivers & passenger to release. If there's a local car lot or detailer near you they could better help you as we can't see the actual car.(sorry)
