The car has 110,000+miles and likely on the original O2 and spark plugs. The car was not well maintained.
My best guess at resolving these are:
1. replace pre-cat O2 sensors
2. new spark plugs
I'm guessing 92 might be a loose gas cap?? What do you think or what else should I check for in the fuel system?
Finally, his car was overfilled with engine oil, something like 8+qts. It was about 1/2 inch above the max mark on the dipstick. His amber "oil light" was on. I pumped out some oil to bring the level to an appropriate level. Does the "oil light" come on if there is too much oil? Or, is the oil pressure sensor bad? Or, bad oil pump? What should I check?
