BMW 3 Series GT to debut in Paris
Filed under: Europe, Paris Motor Show, Crossover, BMW, Luxury  This year's Paris Motor Show is shaping up to be an interesting one. Autocar reports BMW is planning to show off the production version of the upcoming 3 Series Gran Turismo next month. Word has it the five-door will offer buyers a long-wheelbase version of the 3 Series they know and love along with love-it-or-loathe-it styling borrowed from the 5 Series GT. BMW hasn't served up much in the way of details, but the report indicates the 3GT will be a bit shorter than the Chinese-market 3 Series Li, which spans just under 115 inches from bumper to bumper. The model will also share underpinnings with the upcoming 4 Series Gran Coupe, which is slated to debut in 2015. The 3 Series GT is also expected to offer the same two-piece tail gate as its larger sibling, the 5GT.
