Earlier this morning, an armed employee of BMW France took a number of hostages in one of the company's offices in Paris. French authorities reportedly responded with an elite anti-crime force that freed three hostages without injury, despite the assailant firing two shots during an altercation. The whole incident lasted just two hours from the time authorities received a call about the hostage situation.
BMW hasn't released any details on the incident, though it is known that the armed employee was a male in his 50s.
