just for the record

Power to weight ratios
E30 325i: 16.95 lbs per hp
E36 325i: 16.39 lbs per hp
E46 325i: 17.54 lbs per hp
E90 325i: 15.39 lbs per hp

to be fair, the E30 325i was the higher end E30, while all subsequent models had models with larger engines. also, the engines were more sophisticated.

there is nothing wrong with any of these bimmers, it is just personal preference. however, personally lot, i find your disrespect of anything older distrubing.

Hey. Fuck you. It all depends on preference, old style or modern, it doesn't matter at the end because their all still BMWs.

And Lot attendant is a BMW lot attendant, the only reason to ban him is if he doesn't post pics.

i doubt it. e36 should be quicker in a straight line.

anyways the guy is talking about doing an e30 with the e36 swap so why would you even argue the e36 is faster when the e30 is lighter and would have the same motor...?

Handling wise, i would say the e30 gives better feedback than the e36

i hope it helps this guy decide!

^Sweet I love mine and its only a 4 banger and I still manage to have way way too much fun with it.

Edit: I just put in a z3 1.9 Shift lever (got it for xmas) for a shorter throw and I love it, it sure as hell beats paying a couple hundred dollars for someone else's aftermarket.
