I've narrowed the search for my next car.

Most of you that will read this know about my accident. Totaled an 06' M3. Well, I'm out of tge hospital doing great now. Just in therapy and such. I'm starting to go out more and it's almost time for me to decide on a new car. So here are the few choices.

E46 Carbon Black M3 Coupe w/ Competition Package

or

E90 335i Coupe (300/300 twin turbo)

or, the wait.

E92 M3

Truthfuly I really like the looks and performance of the 335. It's just not an M though. The plus is I'd have 15k in pocket for .. life (mods).

edit: Just got off the phone with Global Imports here in Atlanta. There is only one (1) E46 Carbon Black M3 Coupe w/ Competition Package left on the east coast sales side. It's in Texas. Might have to scratch that one off. :\

335i

celsdogg 09-13-2006 12:15 PM

glad to hear that you are doing well. i like all three of those options. Thats a tough one. how soon will you be getting a new car?

EcianIce 09-13-2006 01:01 PM

should be driving again by the end of the month. so 2-3 weeks

xsperf 09-13-2006 02:19 PM

id take the e46 m3, lets see, probably cheaper than the 335(unless you buy brand new), its an ///M, always makes a difference, its still faster, and you wont miss your previous car :)

I don't think "cheaper" is part of the consideration. :lol

I vote get something now to hold you over until the e92 m3. Imagine an M3 with a deep throuty v8 sound... Chris's mustang sound, in an M3. That'd be amazing.

Plus no matter what you get now, as soon as that new M3 comes out, you KNOW you're going to wish you had waited. ;)

Oh, and I'll race you to get an exotic. ;)

335 if I was you, those things are BADDDD ASSSSSSS

drz 09-13-2006 05:18 PM

E46 M3 ZCP in some other color. I like Laguna Seca Blue, Alpine White, and Jet Black.

You know you want a ZCP. Ask yourself: is color really that important to you?

witeshark 09-13-2006 06:11 PM

Wow they're all nice! :clap Have fun on your choice :redspotda

TJsBimm 09-13-2006 06:19 PM

335i very nice! but i'd wait for the new M3. Still the choices your looking at are all very nice options. Glad to hear you're coming along well after the accident.

I know you love bimmers, but maybe after wrecking an 06 Competition Package M3, you should get like an:

1. Escalade
2. Denli
3. Land Rover Supercharged.
4. X5 4.8is

I'm suggesting an SUV. You need something bigger, at least for a year.

But, if you are going with those 3 choices. :rolleyes
I'd have to say the e92 M3. The 335i Turbo is cool (no lag), I'd personally rather have an //M.

But I'm still sticking that you need an SUV for awhile.

celsdogg 09-13-2006 08:24 PM

^^^ i am getting to a point where i am sick of suv's and all the reason that people drive em, and most of them arent worth a grain of salt.

sorry lot :doh

E92 Ftw

I don't think you're looking for an SUV, Zack. But if you were, here is my list (in no particular order):

GMC Envoy Denali w/ all the bells and whistles
Lexus GX 470
Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged

Yeah yeah, but do you see my point. :rolleyes

What is going to be more SAFER if I run my SUV into your sports car going 30mph-50mph?

I'm going to survive with less damage to my SUV and my body than you are.

End lecture

Forgive me, I just had to comment on your SUV choices. :rolleyes
Have you driven the Envoy Denail? or the GX470?
Lexus SUVs are for the ladies.
And Envoy Denali....you aren't going to reach one around $65K.
Range Rover Supercharged fits the profile and they're cool.
Anywho
