The Ultimate Drive
Quote:
|
Come celebrate the 10th Anniversary of The Ultimate Drive® with BMW and our partner, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, by driving a new BMW vehicle of your choice. Choose from the sporty 2006 3 Series or the luxurious 7 Series, or better yet take them both out for a thrilling test drive! For every mile you drive BMW will donate $1 on your behalf to Komen. Since the program’s inception in 1997, The Ultimate Drive® has raised over $9 million dollars for breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment programs. In 2006 you can continue to make a difference by taking a test drive to help us reach our 10th Anniversary goal: donating a grand total of $10 million!
|
I just wanted to say that The Ultimate Drive is coming to our dealership on Monday (8/21/06). It should be AWESOME! We are getting 15-21 BMWs with pink ribbons on the hood and all over the car.
I'm going to bring my camera, and get LOTS of pics.
Check out the image gallery for further pictures.

Has anyone been to one of these events?

So how does that work? Do they travel the country, dealership to dealership? Can anyone go up and drive or (like Celsdogg said,) are you invited?

I'm not sure if they have come here yet. Do they charge you per mile or something like that?

Yeah, click the link, and it shows the route map. Am I invited? I work there. Yes, I will be involved somehow. It'll be super fun!

She isn't hot, (the last 2 were), but this one is 33 and has relationship problems + 3 kids and an ex-husband.
I took 98 pictures, some are blurry, and others bad pics. Soooo, I'll stick up the "good ones" (20-30 or so).
Tommorow, when I find the USB/Camera connect. I have 2 in my room and none of them fit.
It was a good turn out. LOTS of fun!
They're headed to Colorado next.
