I would rather get a diesel 3-series.... the 320d right? Thier around in Europe, I think.
Dough
PS,
Just did a quick search on BMW UK and found these figures....
330d
231 hp.
369 lbft.
0-62mph in 6.7sec
Fuel consumption
City: 31.7mpg
Hwy: 55.4mpg
So with a 16.1 gal tank, you could technically go as far as 890mi on one tank fill... and your able to do that with an engine than can give you all that torque too.
I'd get that one... serve it up, Jet black, manual all the way.

^^^ true, but it just doesnt seem like it produces the same "high energy" spirit that a ICE would, i mean a 2 seater sport roadster/coupe that sounds like a jetta tdi or a school bus?
i dont know how to describe what im thinking. . . maybe some one will catch my drift
around here diesel is a few cents more than 87 at some stations. it confuses me because it is refined less, right? at other stations it is cheaper than 87, and im not sure why, one way or the other.
but on the whole, even if diesel is a few cents more than regular, you get more miles out of one gallon on diesel than with regular, so cheaper nonetheless.

I do, but I have read reviews in which testers are surprised by how the sound is less diesel sounding and more quiet then expected

although if that happens our gas prices might go up more?
idk.
