what so BMW do in Motorsports?
Frist, I think BMW really needs to make the new M3 right now because BMW is getting their ass kick in AMLS GT2 class. The E46 M3 is to old to win or just let th PTG boys have the two M3 GTRs. I would like to BMW of NA have a protype LMP1 factory car. So, they can make Audi shut up about how good they are. I would also be sweet it Indy car and Champ car got to thougher and have BMWs in the field so they and win the Indy 500.

Champ car and Indy sereis are going off in way different directions. For one, I believe that Indy cars are all Honda engines(not 100% positive) and champ car are all Ford engines, therefore making no rivraly between manufactures like in forumla 1 or various other racing series

Champ car series has turned into "poser" racing. Paul Tracy HAD talent but now with his rockstar image in champ car it's all about the bling. They like their exposure & their cult followings but are shallow on the talent vs other racing series. BMW needs a good racing development program (factory devoted support) but they've been known for their conservative approach until they feel they really have something to bring to the table. They never jump ino anything until they have assessed everything.
