Coilovers
I can buy a pair of used 540i H & R coilovers. They have 10K miles on them and the guy will part with them for $700.
I like to track my car, but it is mainly my daily driver. Any opinions on the ride quality of H & R coilovers and ride quality or just coilovers in general?
Thanks

a lot of coil overs like the pss9's are completely adjustable from ride height to dampening (soft to hard). so they might work out well for both purposes.

I don't think that h & r coilovers are completely adjustable. Not entirely sure though. And with ride quality it will be a little harsher, but I am not sure how low those ones are.

They cost 1200-1500 new. I am not sure how much to install, adjust and align. I think the H and R can adjust ride height and valve. You can change your springs in the future. Corner balancing is super important, otherwise the car will ride and handle worse than stock.
