I must have too heavy of foot

I get 13.8 in all city and 19.9 at 70/75 in all highway driving.

Of course the 3.64 gears have something to do with the highway miles.

I was getting 14.1 in town and 23 highway before I added the extra fun

My E32 740 had a highway range on the OBC at 70 mph of just over 500 miles. Long time between Pee stops

Normal week = bit of steady driving and a bit of thrashing her gives me about 26-29mpg imperial (31 - 35 us)
Pissed off week = thrashing her all the time gets around 20 mpg imperial (24 us)
return trip from my parents trying to get the best possible milage per gallon = 37mpg imperial (44.5 us) and that's cruising at 70mph motorway and 60mph normal roads.

with the 318 i get around 25...up to 30ish if im crusing...but that rarely happens.

With the 330 i made it from Whittier CA to Dublin CA on almost an entire tank(like 1 gallon left) and average about 30mpg..thats after going 100mph+ on the grape vine..and making it to dublin in 4 hours.

I'm sure those of us in the US will start to pay more attention to our lead feet since the spike in prices.... $55 a tank (about 6 days worth) just sucks more and more money out of my dwindling savings.

You thought thats bad, try living in the UK, our petrol prices are nearing the £1 per litre!!!!! Its currently at 92.9 pence per litre. Think it costs me about £45 to fill the tank on my car at the moment which equates to you guys in dollars at $83!!!!!

oh, no doubt, though we're comming from $25 a tank to $55 in just about a year's time. Last month I paid $32 a tank. I know that prices are insaine all over EU (and the UK), but they've been like that for awhile, I'm sure you can understand the inital shock when you've got to double the amount of money you're putting into each tank in a short period of time.

yeah dont we all know it! Problem we have is most of it is Tax, we pay one of the highest tax on petrol, think germany is on a similar par if not higher tax bracket for petrol, and the government still don't have some compassion to lower the fuel duty, its just crazy, were up to a £1 per litre, and unless somethings done, it will hit £5 per gallon very soon.
