coupes were e36's until 99 and sedans were e46's in 99. in 2000 the coupes were e46's.

so, let me get this straight. 1995 was the last year for the 325i sedan, 1998 was the last year for the e36 all together accept for 99 wich was the last year for the M3, AND the 325i coupe?

there was still the 328is and 323 in 99 i think. in 99 i think there was only the 328i sedan. once they introduced the 330 they brought back the 325.

Don't waste your breath or brain power on him. He has to live with it - if he's "playing the role" he's got alot of others that'll call him on it - like when he orders parts, has service done or when he has to explain to his insurance agent when #s don't jive. Let "KARMA" take it's course. Some people just bring on hassles to themselves for what - a minute to glow?

in 99 the 328i Sedan was e46 the coupe and convertible were E36 see www.realoem.com and you can break it down based on body style, model, region, and it will give you the year options.

So my '99 328i convertible is an e36. if it were a sedan it would have been the e46.
