E36 M3 or 330ci?

not sure what to go with, I've had my mind set on getting a 99 (last year of the E36) M3, and I would love to get one, but how about I dunno, a 2000ish 330ci??? Any comments?

Definitely go with the 330 if you can. I know I'm a little partial to the e46 models but IMO the e46 is the best looking body style ever made. Plus, you can mod the 330 to put out just as much hp as the stock 99 e36 M3. On another note, you have put in your time in the e36 and it never hurts to change it up a bit. Good luck and I know you won't be disappointed either way.

edit: if you do go with the 330, look into a 2001 or newer to avoid owning a 1st year model remake and having to deal with the little quirks that get fixed after the 1st year of production.

Yeah, I'd have to say e46 330Ci Coupe, and try and get a 5 speed manual.

I dunno, that's what I'd get.

honestly...go with the 330ci. But like Envy I am partial to E46. I like the interior of the E46 better also.

If I got an e46 though, I'd want the facelifted version. It makes a huge difference IMO. And those, being newer, are more expensive.

MANUAL m3. The M3 driving experience over a nonM is just insane.

My vote... M3, and I'm not being partial as I have an E46. Assuming there's nothing wrong with the M3. But, then again, does the E46 come with a warrenty? If so, then that could be the weighing factor in the decision unless you plan to modd out, which in that case, doesn't matter. M3 baby!

e36 M3. It's been a dream of mine ever since I fell in love with BMW. With teh M badge behind it you know it will be more fun to drive.

but the only way to know for sure it to test drive both.

I meant e36 m3. The e46 m3 is a bit heavy, and a bit too expensive (30K+)!
