ALOT better than the 350Z.

You HAD to ask that?
Oh well....
YES, they are both made by Nissan, but my impression was that the G35 had a different exaust (better sounding--I thought)....than the 350Z.
Buuuut, now I'm confused.
I'm going to the Nissan dealership tommorow to check it out.

Noooooo
I heard a 350Z on campus, and he was revving it pretty good.
Didn't sound the same as a G35.

you can just consider the g35 the lux version of a 350z and the g35 has back seats when the z is a 2 seater

The G35 is the NA skyline and the 350z is a different car.

You are not necessarily hearing the "engine" sound.... You are hearing what comes from the exhaust system.
I don't see the big deal over the infinity M badge to people like you.... unless if maybe if you are part of corporate bmw....
What about cars with the "S" badge standing for... "sport"?
Same deal, is it not? It is a badge... it doesn't make the car... big deal...
go get a VANOS badge.....

I do.
I think Infinity needs to pay up and remove it from their production line.
Plus, it's NOTHING compared to the 550i.

Okay. Lets clear up what EXACTLY the 350 Z is and the G35 is.
The 350 Z (also known as the fairlady Z) is the latest car in the 3xxZ line started years ago by Dautsun.
Now here's where it gets important because calling the G35 an expensive 350Z is an outrage.
The Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe is the US Domestic spec Nissan Skyline R35. If you're fortunate enugh, you'll see a G35 labeled as a nissan skyline 3.5GT. The people that bought these paid a heavy premium to get one of these cars.
