BMW, the sub culture.
I just got out of school and was driving down to the local sub shop before work and this guy in an M roadster followed me to the shop to tell me he loved my DDE's and wanted to know where to get them. We ended up talking for about 5-10 minutes, and yes I told him about UnitedBimmer . And hopefully I will get to see him on this saturday's meet & drive. He was a really nice guy, and I thought it was great that there are drivers out there that recognize the pride of BMW.
and hopefully he will become a member here

That's awesome. I frequently pass by other modded e36's who flick their lights or thumbup to acknowledge another BMW modder. It's cool to be part of a community that sticks together like that. I doubt few other car Makes have the unity that BMW owners do.

I think with BMWs it's the area where you live that makes the atmosphere. When in Minnesota alot of BMWs are DRs cars & those pricks barely look at you. When I'm on the highway I get more "nods" from truckers and other folks. Now, with the "bird" it's totally different scenario I get "thumbs" even from cops (as long as I'm behavin')

Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
yea. Its a good feeling. although i thumb up some BMW owners and they look at me like "wtf?"..idk
but yea its always kool.
I followed an E30 M3 over my mountain pass one night. had a nice little run. I followed the guy and he stopped, told him he had a sweet car. Exchanged some words and on we went. same with a 740il one night.
Dont think any one i know has arelationship with other car make owners as I do. BMW rocks.

Umnitza, best place in the world, wouldn't go anywhere else.
I give thumbs up to other BMW drivers too, but it's far too rare to see one that's modded around here, except for clear corners, i dont necessarily consider that a mod always. but i love getting comments from people who think my car is BRAND NEW, "nope, it's 10 years old." "no shit?!"

I was driving through the Taco Bell drive through with Rob the other day (Robstah on here), and a civic owner pulled up beside me, took in the car, then motioned for us to roll down the window, and went on and on about how nice it was. haha. but again, he drove a civic.
