Finally a Sighting of the new M5 - United Bimmer Community

Last night in rush hour traffic downtown Seattle, I was with my girl waiting at a light when there it was, a new M5.

I had to look twice to make sure. I have seen vids, pictures, etc. I had yet to see one in person, even at the local dealership. The guy drives up and I am just gawking at his car. He never looked over, I wanted to hear the engine rev. That machine is pure sex. Maybe because I know what is under the hood and the looks have grown on me. The typical owner, gray haired gentleman in a suit, mid 50s.

I thought I would share.

I dunno man, am driving the 540 more and more now a days, and I think the E39 540's are pure sex... and your's is dinan

Don't get me wrong, even the stock 540 is wicked, but the M5 from the E34, E39 and E60. I can't explain it. Thanks for the compliment about my car. If you are ever in Seattle, you are more than welcome to drive it.

dinan540 is your car 6 speed? If I ever went to Seattle I would love to go for a ride in your car, then maybe James would let me drive his cars :P

I also think that its going to be Seahawks vs Broncos in the Superbowl, but i'm afraid im rooting for the Broncos

I saw an e60 M5 driving around near where I work last week, was similar to the e39 Silverstone color (think that's the name), was awesome!

I have yet to see an e60 m5 in person. I need to go aorudn town a little bit more. I know there has to be one around here.
