I've only had mine a few months so I haven't spent much.
the usual insurance and monthly payments
130 - 2 tires
65 - inspection
20- blanace and mount tires
20 - new wiper blades
50 - new windshield.

Next year or two is where it get fun.
$crapload for new garage to keep her comfortable
possible new clutch, still troubleshooting that one think it may be the diff.
if i do the clutch it may be time to do the associated crap like tranny mounts, shifter bushings, guibo, slave cylinder, lines ( you know the stuff you do when you got it all torn apart.)
new leather for front seats
new speakers
a minor weldjob on the jack storage attachment in the trunk.
some interioir trim pieces
fill in the couple of missing tools
paint job touch-ups

And i still need to get the srs reset tool (kinda putting it off, I'm not sure why, just lazy I guess).

And a complete fluid replacement.

basically I'm better off buying a lift.

But i refuse to obsess over my car.

I want a lift too, but mine is going to shove through into interior room above garage. ( saw some show on Speed TV where collector had his lift go into a room above his garage so he could mess with it indoors)

now that sounds sweet. It all comes down to what can I build into the new garage. Nothing can happen until I move into the house in Sept. and I give my wife her new kitchen. But after that it's all about what the city will let me build.

I hear ya, I have to relocate to warmer climates like FL or somewhere in that direction before I do anything. Had a place in Pompano Beach Fl until hurricane removed back 1/2 of the place sooo I'm hanging w/family in Minn for stops between gigs.

Know what I like about winter? NOTHING!

Winter has it's place, it's just about 2 months longer than it should be. I'm moving a whopping 4 blocks from my current house. My dad is retiring so I'm buying his house and selling mine off, which will fund my garage project you know what the nice thing about mortgage payments is - not having one, ever

Yup I'm getting rid of my 4 banger by next summer and getting a 5!
I'm tired of throwing dough into my car....

I worked it out, I'm gonna lease a pre-own....E39...530i
my bills and insurance will be the same and I'll spend less in maintenace!
