Could you double check that vin? The last 7 digits shows it's an 87 E30, man. trans (320i) prod.date 4/1987 - (when running complete # it comes up as a Camaro, double check your 1st 9 digits) I'm not using carfax - that format only shows what people/ins cos are required to report. "hello carfax, I'ld like to report my car's a turd, but it runs good!"

^^ Yea it will. Insurance company's have to report wether the car has been scraped/salvaged or not.

yea and in some states.. what sucks is... that a car becomes salvage if it is repo-ed..
