BMW X4 Concept

Since Voca gave me the link i thought i would post this.

http://www.bmwworld.com/models/concepts/x4.htm

Quote:
The BMW X4 is a totally new vehicle, show here with its Highland Silver, all-aluminum body. The X4 is a combination of the styling and features of a sports coupe together with the four-wheel drive and off-road capabilities of the X5 SAV.
Quote:
BMW has introduced the term 'Flame Surfacing' to describe the X4's styling technology. According to BMW, the technique is called Flame Surface because it is "reminiscent of the forms of energetic flames, such as those from the burning of gas under pressure".BMW says that Flame Surfacing "gives body surfaces the freedom to turn in on themselves, lending a high degree of visual tension...a controlled tension whose energy pervades the entire visual image without in any way diminishing the vehicle's overall harmony."

Personally i like it. The front looks like a Z4. The back is sleek and has a nice modern design to it. What do u guys think?

looks too flat, i don't like the large flat surfaces. The front doesn't look too bad but overall it looks too jaged and I think it should be smoother and more connected.

The designe isnt terrable (i atcualy think it has potential if it just looses those alteza style tail lights, but i feel like it is just going to turn into another underpowered "chick car" it only has 184 HP right now, not to mention they even addmited to it haveing a high groud clearance, who wants a sporty coupe with 184 hp and a high ground clearance.... kinda takes away from the fun of it. I will admit that i like the way the coupe opens up, mayb if they make an M series of this or something it would b worthwhile to think about, as long as we get a real manual in there instead of just paddles !
