Winter setup

Whos dreading putting their shitty winter wheels on.. :( i am.

I cant stand how my car looks with bottlecaps, so ugly, so ugly.

And what else are you doing to get your car into winter mode?

Rooz 11-23-2005 06:05 PM

for now, My wheels are staying but I did hardwire my DDE\'s....

DEATH2000 11-23-2005 06:23 PM

Well i have snow tires on right now. I dont plan to drive it much in the winter, if theres serious snow out ill probably garage it and drive w/e car my mom gets.

voca 11-23-2005 06:36 PM

yes, I\'m not looking forward to putting my bottlecaps on. hopefully I wont have to drive in the snow too much.

if it get\'s really bad I\'ll probably put a sand bag in the trunk as well, we will see.

What do mean by this? Is it to make them work in the cold better or something cause a lot of the time one of mine is dim.

Haven't gotten around to buying snow tires yet. Haven't decided if I wanna get steel rims & 205/60 tires , or if I should just get 215/45 tires for these current rims. I have to consider that I'll probably not have this car after next summer.

I don't know about you guys, but my car is running so much nicer in this cold weather :thumbup

just cold here, snowed a tiny bit on wednesday, but didn't stick to the road just to cars, etc.

Storamin 11-25-2005 03:53 PM

i have a set of winter tires on seperate rims i put on today. i got caught trying to go somewhere wednesday when snow hit. the summer performance michellin tires didn't do so well at all.

nick_318is 11-25-2005 04:17 PM

I put on my basketweaves a few weeks ago for the winter, unfortunatly they are an all weather tire, i dont have enough money laying around right now for proper snow tires, but for that matter i dont plan on driving in snow very much.
