Production Times?
Recently ordered a 135i Coupe and was just wondering if anyone has a feel for how long it takes once the car enters the production stage? I realize that the shipping would be when the ship is full and we do not know when they started loading. Just trying to get a feel for the 8 to 10 weeks I was told that it would the for delivery. All comments are welcome.

I did consider the European route. Wish I could have gone that way. I love driving in Germany. I once took out a nice road sign and totaled a van while there. My excuse was the snow. Tks for your help.

Sounds like a good enough reason for me.
Although I could still go for more miles my 2000 Volvo has 116+k and has seen some rough roads. I am thinking major part replacements may be in store so I thought I would go for a newer car. The one I wanted was not in stock, of course, so this left me with the waiting game. I do not mid much as this gives me time to do research like this.
