Hello everyone need help
Hi guys and girls, Im new on here, i have been looking at various threads which have helped me out so thanks to all of you. I need help urgently. I have a BMW 1996 540I E39 and i am in adelaide australia. The other day my car started then coughed and splurtered and i managed to limp her home. I looked at the threads re fuel pump and i re fitted a new fuel pump. The car ran for 5 minutes then coughed and splurtered and stopped. It comes on for 5 seconds then dies again. Does anyone think it could be the relay at the rear of the car in the battery compartment. Or could it be another relay. The car was working beautifully untill this happened. Obviously fuel pump was not the issue . Can someone please help im at wits end ready to pull out my hair. waiting for your kind and helpful replies |

well after no replies from anyone on here, i finally managed to sort out my issue. Replaced a new fuel pump, filter and car running beautifully. |
