hello everyone. im new to the site and new to bmw's. i recently traded for a 1995 325i 4 door sedan. when i got the car the previous owner had installed a push button starter because a relay or something failed causing the starter not to engage with the turn of the key. he said he never tried to start the car after because of the rotten air intake boot. i got the car, replaced the air boot and now the car turns over but wont start. i first tried some starting fluid and it seemed to want to start. then i pulled the back seat and realized that the in tank fuel pump was not coming on with the key. i changed some relays around in the fuse box and still no fuel pump. i then power probed the fuel pump and proved that it does in fact work. i tried starting the car while probing the feul pump and it didnt even try to fire.
