e39 sedan or e46 touring?
Well as some of you may know, I wrecked my mom's 98 Volvo V70 last month. She has been driving the 98 528ia in my sig, but she isnt likeing it too much. My dad wants to buy her a e46 touring. which do you guys (and gals) think is a better car? Personally I am leaning towards the 528i, as I think it will maintain its value better.

Sorry to hear about the wreck - Glad you're ok. Is her issue about having a touring? Cause in that case I guess the E46 makes sense |

E46 Touring ! Not too many of them around; they are sexy... you can haul lots of stuff with them... As someone on another board said: "Wagons are for soccer moms, tourings are for the beautiful people."

I would go for the e39 personaly, that 5 series just cant loose man, looking for one myself. |

tourings are hot, rare, and rare. and they look awesome. plus 528ia..ehh...try and stay away from the auto..but thats my opinion

I would go with the touring for sure....not only can you haul a ton of junk, but you can haul ass at the same time  plus they look so good

Why can't you do e39 touring? That's one of the best looking modern designs by BMW.
