e39 sedan or e46 touring?
Well as some of you may know, I wrecked my mom's 98 Volvo V70 last month. She has been driving the 98 528ia in my sig, but she isnt likeing it too much. My dad wants to buy her a e46 touring. which do you guys (and gals) think is a better car? Personally I am leaning towards the 528i, as I think it will maintain its value better.

Sorry to hear about the wreck - Glad you're ok. Is her issue about having a touring? Cause in that case I guess the E46 makes sense

well we had the volvo because we had a dog. but the dog died last year, so we really have no need for a wagon.

Not too many of them around; they are sexy... you can haul lots of stuff with them...

yah the auto sucks balls. I can feel it slowing the car down. On the 540 its ok, but the 528 really needs the manual to wake it up.

Why can't you do e39 touring? That's one of the best looking modern designs by BMW.
