So I was flipping through the latest issue of Bimmer Magazine and learned something new. Those little bumps on the sideview mirror housing were actually designed to disturb the flow of air enough to reduce wind noise and howl. I never liked the look of those bumps, now I know at least they serve a purpose.
It took a little time to get used to them, but now they're fine, no difference. Visibility is the same.
agreed. everybody else that i ever let drive my car ( this very rarely happens) comments on how small they are. who cares about functionality, they look awesome
