Need an OEM mirror

I hope this is the right section...

I got a cracked driver's side mirror. I tried looking online and in none of the generic sites could I find a mirror.. just the damn mirror that's all I need. So my questions is, where can I buy an OEM part, i.e. mirror, without going to the dealer?

Ahem... I bought an oem one from partstrain.com, but then decided to return it and get M3 mirrors... which I recommend to you too.

are you looking for just the glass? it should be no more than $100 from the dealer full retail. my guess is if you get it a pacific, it should be like $40 bucks or something

Yea Woobie, was just about to email them... and yes, just the mirror. I'd rather spend the <$100 for a single mirror than alot more for a set of mirror assemblies.

Komodo, that site doesn't have mirrors anymore, at least not on thier list of results, thanks though.

to put into perspective:

when i had to buy E46 m3 mirrors, the glass were $61.60 each (that is 20% off from my local dealer) If you purchased it at pacific, im sure its even cheaper than that!

So how much were the M3 mirrors? All the ones I've seen were in the $500 range.

Right Mirror $67.80 51 16 7 893 558
Switch $38.40 61 31 6 901 383

these are for OEM E46 ///M3 Mirrors (Euro Autofolding version) for coupes. All prices were 20% off from MSRP from my local dealer. As you can see, the glass themselves were very cheap. From Pacific usually giving 30%+ off, you should get them for close to $50 per mirror or less!

Ah... thankyou... prices are what I thought for the M3 mirrors. Emails have been sent to Pacific and Circle BMW. Now just gotta wait for the prices for thier stock mirrors and shipping costs.

I'd just thought that I'd try, calling them won't happen till the end of the week. Beyond any dealer, there isn't a place where you can purchase the glass mirrors online. All the sites mentioned so far didn't have them, damnti . Ah well....

I called Pacific BMW using thier 1-800 number. No one answers. I called thier parts department with that number twice, then called thier operator. THEN, I called thier local number (charged), not that I care, my service plan is nationwide. Only then they answered... , Just annoying is all. This is why I'd rather just use the web for my parts. It goes into a computer and bam, it comes a week (or less) later. NO incompetant personel who get confused, asking repetitive questions...

Anyway, it came to $67.22 shipped to NJ. Thanks Woobie and all for your help and recommendations.
