Hello, I am looking to buy a 1997 328i that needs a transmission. I have always wanted a BMW and thought that this is a way that I can. I am very handy and plan on doing all the work myself. Now, I have all the tools and the place to work on this car. My questions are: How difficult is the tranny to R&R? The add also says that the CEL needs a O2 sensor and front brakes. Is this car worth buying and putting on the road or would it be better to just let is go and let the current owner scrap it like they plan?...Gary
