BMW 316i Compact 1998 model
Hello guys, i am Sharook and i am a new to the forum.
Well guys, i wonder if anyone can help?
I have a BMW 316i Compact, E36 model i believe and it's 1998 year model.
I blew the head gasket few months ago due to a leak in the radiator expansion tank. However, a new head gasket, new radiator with expansion tank, new thermostat, new water pump and a new fan switch have been replaced. Since then the car has been in and out to the mechanics coz the car is still overheating, the fan is not cutting off in time, pressure is building causing coolant to leak through the pipe and oil is leaking which i believe it's cooking the seal.
Anyone there could give me an idea what else is causing these problems?

i would check that thermostat again it could be a bad one or in backwards if the mechanic was sleeping.I would test it by getting it at running temp. then see if you got heat and if theres no heat its the thermostat.
