Removing starter BMW 525i 1994
We are trying to remove the starter so a local auto store can test for me assuming this is my problem on why it does not start. The top bolt is driving us nuts. We have the Haynes book but worthless on any ideas for special tools or removing other items. How do we get to the top bolt for removal. Does a specific Bentley book show this specifically? Thank you |

www.bmwfans.info/parts is a good source for finding out what the thing is supposed to look like. Once you get the 11-digit part Number (P/N), then go to the various parts sites, enter the number & see if you can get a picture. That might give you a clue. Try www.bavauto.com or www.bimmerspecialists.com, or www.bmwpartscounter.com, or you might get lucky at www.bimmerdiy.com Good luck! |
