Hey, I've been wanting to tint my windows since I bought my car. Now that I have the money, I have another dilemma: how dark should I go? I want it to look tasteful, not ricer or anything. Can someone tell/show me what number is good? 25? 45? I have no idea... Thanks a bunch!

Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
thanks guys. my car is a black on black leather 318is. it sucks so bad in the sun that my air conditioning doesn't even feel cold (but I just had it looked at and it's "perfect"). Anyway, state laws say 35% on the front and any on the back. I don't want it too dark, just enuff to cool my car down a bit and keep people from starin at me whilst I sing in my car.
I know law aren't enforced that much, but I was thinkin about getting a custom german front plate for my car, in the state of MO, is that allowed, and how much of a fine is it?

I really don't recommend going below 30 on a daily driver. It might look nice and feel cool on a hot day, but at night your visibility is greatly impared.

how much does a normal tint job go for? $100-200...? I'm thinking of going 25% all around because the tint I have one there now is bubbling and coming off. Do the tint places remove the old shit and make it look nice?
^^^Yea sounds about right.Theres a place here in calgay that will tint 5 window for $250-300 CDN. And most tint places will remove the old tint, but it can cost a few dollars extra
