hi guys. im located in bothell wa and i drive a 95 bmw 325i. the car has a few problems and maybe you guys can help. when i accelerate before 3k the car seems to bog/shutter, and after 3k the car suddenly pulls fine. another problem is that in 1st, 3rd, and 5th gear, the shift knob shakes. could it be the tranny mounts? i also need a factory amplifier for the speakers. does any one live locally that is selling one?

You're going to have to be a little more specific on the noise, where is it coming from, what rpm, does it seem speed related, is it loud or soft. Does it always happen, or just sometimes happen?

sorry about that. its a clicking niose coming from the shift knob. if i put my hand tightly around it it stops. the clicking speed gets faster than it stays the same speed when i accelerate.. hope that gives you guys a better idea.

When you put your hand around the knob to stop the noise can you feel a vibration or pulsation? I'm suspecting worn mounts on the tranny or engine MAY be the culprit.

so i looked under the car. the guibo thing is destroyed to crap, so that explains the clicking noise from the shifter. and yes, if i put my hand on the shifter and kinda pull it, it will stop... another thing is the tranny is sitting really close to the bar that goes across the bottom and when i give it gas drive up hill you can feel thumping coming from the tranny and im guessing thats why. my question is where can i get ALL new motor mounts, and where can i get a new good quality guibo/flex disk from? is there a good bmw website?
