Trusting the opinions of my fellow UB buddies im asking you all to find me the best bmw you can for under $9000.

here are my comments
-within 100 miles of 27517 (chapel hill, nc)
-manual transmission unless a superb car is found
-i really like 328, 323, 325, but feel free to post others
-im about looks as well as need decent performance
-remember the less i spend on the car the more for mods. =)

I think I would Carfax the nearest manual E36 models. Big pool to choose from! :)

komodo 06-13-2005 01:05 PM

Do you have a preference on body style? (E30, E36, E46)

I tried to keep the mileage reasonable, but for the price, it is hard.

Hello fellow Chapel Hillian. Go Duke. :stick

All automatics :( but they looks nice though, thanks

thanks lando i would be really interested in the first car you posted but its an auto as well. as for the 525, i have a 97 528 so im not really looking for another 5 series unless it is an amazing deal (and manual).
you live around chapel hill? where? go unc!

528man 06-13-2005 02:16 PM

komodo-no preference, just a overall nice looking car, maunal trans, and something that with around 4 grand of aftermarket parts will look hella good.

LandoAWD 06-13-2005 02:39 PM

I'm right at Timberlyne. :)

528man 06-13-2005 02:48 PM

ever been towards pittsboro? on the way there, there is a place called cole park plaza, and im near that. only like 5 miles from franklin.

LandoAWD 06-13-2005 03:02 PM

Yup, used to love Dry Dock, and dated a chick that lived off Mann's Chapel. She went to Northwood.

528man 06-13-2005 03:26 PM

no way i go to northwood lol, what was her name/grad yr. younger brothers sisters?

LandoAWD 06-13-2005 03:39 PM

I'd rather not say. She graduated in 98 and only has an older brother. She does have a son on the come-up, though.

528man 06-13-2005 03:52 PM

i prob wouldnt know her anyways. too old for my time

E30 325i's. If you find one in good condition you can make it look real nice. Otherwise stick with the 5'er, those can be made really fast.

you can buy mine for 12k
